Are you doing your duty? I hope so, for all our sakes.

I've seen too many Daevas grow lazy and arrogant, resting on old praises instead of honing their skills.

That is why I joined The Circle: to develop pride, strength, and purpose in new Daevas, so the wastrels' numbers would shrink.

I like to think it's working, but I still see those other Daevas. Sometimes I wonder....
