Ugh, why didn't I wear boots?

I think I'd have more patience with this place if it wasn't for the grit in everything.

Sand in your bed, your hair, your feathers, your eyes...

And, of course, sand in everything you eat.

When's the last time you chewed sand? Ugh, even thinking about it makes me shudder.
